ZapQuake strategy

 

ZapQuake is a very popular choice of spell combination at TH8 and TH7 when used together with an air attack such as full dragons attack. This strategy is to ensure 1 Air Defence (AD) is destroyed before releasing the air troops onto the battle field. It is therefore extremely vital that using 2 Lightning and 1 Earthquake (EQ) spell can successfully achieve this outcome.

There are times when clashers go in with inadequate level of Lightning or EQ spells and the AD is not destroyed, leading to the entire attack going south. Thus, this page is to help you ensure that the adequate levels are brought for your war attack!

On the left is the AD level that you're going up against. At the top is the EQ level that you'll have and in the boxes showing the LVL is the level of the Lightning you'll want to bring with you.

For example:

​

To destroy a Level 6 AD, you'll need any level EQ spell and at least a level 5 lightning spell.

To destroy a Level 7 AD, if you have a level 1/2 EQ spell, at least a level 6 lightning spell is necessary. But if you have a level 3/4 EQ spell, just a level 5 lightning spell is necessary.
